This document outlines the consent process for opting in to receive two-factor authentication (2FA) communications via SMS and email from EnterLynk.

 

1. Introduction

EnterLynk uses two-factor authentication (2FA) to enhance the security of your account. To deliver 2FA codes, we need your consent to send these codes via SMS and/or email.

2. Types of Communications

• SMS Messages: 2FA codes sent to your mobile phone number.

• Email Messages: 2FA codes sent to your email address.

 

3. Consent for SMS Messaging

You can opt-in to receive 2FA codes via SMS by following the steps below:

 

• Step 1: EnterLynk sends an initial SMS message to your mobile number requesting consent.

• Step 2: You respond with "YES" to opt-in.

• Step 3: EnterLynk confirms your opt-in and provides instructions for opting out.

 

Example:

• SMS from EnterLynk (8:00 AM): "Hi [Recipient Name], to receive 2FA codes via SMS from EnterLynk, please reply with 'YES'. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply 'STOP' to opt-out."

• SMS from Recipient (8:05 AM): "YES"

• SMS from EnterLynk (8:10 AM): "Thank you! You have successfully opted in to receive 2FA codes via SMS from EnterLynk. To opt-out, reply 'STOP'. For help, reply 'HELP'."

 

4. Consent for Email Messaging

You can opt-in to receive 2FA codes via email by following the steps below:

 

• Step 1: EnterLynk sends an initial email requesting consent.

• Step 2: You click on the provided link to opt-in.

• Step 3: EnterLynk confirms your opt-in and provides instructions for opting out.

• Email from EnterLynk (8:00 AM):

• Subject: Consent Needed for Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Emails

 

• "Hi [Recipient Name],

• To receive 2FA codes via email from EnterLynk, please click the link below to confirm your consent.

• [Opt-in Link]

• If you did not request this, please ignore this email or contact support."

 

• Confirmation Email from EnterLynk (8:10 AM):

• Subject: You Have Successfully Opted In

 

• "Hi [Recipient Name],

• Thank you for opting in to receive 2FA codes via email from EnterLynk. You will now receive 2FA codes at this email address. To opt-out, please click [Opt-out Link]. For assistance, contact our support team."

 

5. Opt-Out Instructions

You can opt-out of receiving 2FA codes via SMS or email at any time by following the instructions provided in the confirmation messages.

 

- SMS Opt-Out: Reply 'STOP' to any 2FA SMS message received from EnterLynk.

- Email Opt-Out: Click the 'Opt-out' link provided in any 2FA email received from EnterLynk.
